This site is designed to provide current information for business relocation or expansion in the Thunder Bay area to help you in your business decisions.

Through this site you can research demographics, economic data , labour force , and commercial / industrial opportunities .  We also offer and can assist with new business start-ups / expansions, business plans / marketing plans and   have a full-time Small Business Consultant on staff.

In addition to this site’s current information about the City of Thunder Bay and area, our professional staff is available to answer questions, organize site visits, customize presentations, assist with Municipal / Provincial / Federal incentives , help to build relationships with other agencies / business’s (including referrals and contact information) and assist with your overall business decisions.

The Thunder Bay Oils Sands Consortium (TBOSC) is a group of 25 companies located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, offering significant capability and capacity relating to the design, manufacture, repair, and installation of a broad range of products fabricated from metal.  Collectively, the member companies represent over 500,000 square feet of facilities, and a workforce of approximately 800 employees.  The Consortium members collectively have hundreds of years of experience and expertise in providing comprehensive, time-sensitive, and cost-effective solutions to the needs of heavy industry, including the Oil and Gas sector.  They also have bonding capabilities.
